Wednesday to Friday was a whirl of 20 hours of exercises, routines, jams and rhythmic encounters. Roxane Butterfly, Maud and Jason took masterclasses tday. After learning some Jimmy Slide steps from Roxy and sweating through Jason’s time step of the day (he does one every day that he swears by as good training), meet up with Roxy for a little interview. Roxy is a world famous tap master and and will be teaching at Guillem Alonso’s new dance school from September. Here are a few moments I spent with her after the first Tap On Barcelona, four years ago when she invited me to her family’s home in the south of France for a few days after the festival on my way back to Geneva.
