My reportage on Juliette Dragon and her Ecole and Cabaret des Filles de Joie has been published on the 75020 web rag (news and events concerning Paris’ 20th arrondisement). If you don’t understand French, it’s ok as there’s stunning, colourful photos peppered through by the talented Gilles Rammant and feverish singing by Australian Peta Gammie (who sang for me on a Sunday morning in her music room last time I was in Geneva- thanks Peta! Who would have thought how tiring finger-clicking accompanying could be…) The Paris Burlesque Festival will run October 22-25 and I will definitely be there. With tap shoes on.
Below is the reportage and read the French article by French journalist Frédéric Rieunier here.
