Paris after dark. The streets are empty. The moon is rising. Inside the apartments all across town, the cats… and the tap dancers, are wide awake.With their feline-like sixth sense (and a little help from Henry Mancini) they tap into sync, creating a delightfully delirious ensemble performance.
The Paris Tap Crew was founded in 2011 by Mbango Baer, Ruby Boukabou and Camille Gillet to create inclusive jam sessions and tap dance events for all levels of tap dancers and tap enthusiasts across the French capital (most frequently around Ménilmontant and Belleville). With this clip we celebrate their 10th year anniversary!
Paris la nuit. Les rues sont vides. La lune se lève. Dans les appartements de la ville, les chats…et les danseurs de tap, sont bien réveillés. Avec leur sixième sens un poil félin (et avec un peu d’aide d’Henry Mancini) ils dansent à l’unisson, et créent un numéro d’ensemble d’une folie délicieuse!
