Improvisation with German Sebastian Weber, body percussion with Brasilian Tais Balieiro and Camus Band Style with Spanish Luis Menandez. I wouldn’t normally take an impro class but in fact it’s really fantasic and Seb gives us exercises, we find ways of developing motifs and forming phrases and setting a rhymic fabric.
Tapas lunch with Sebastian and his Berlin company members who are here.
Tais’ class is fun and mixes choreography with ody percussion games to work both memory/co-ordination and spontanaety. Luis is fun and smooth and steps whole phrases are easily learnt as the steps feel organic and he’s generous and precise with indiciduals as we need.
Have had headache from need of osteopath and the stretch class is just what is needed, then also the fruit and cafe at the market opposite with Roxanne Butterfly who I’ve bumped into and is now living in Barcleona. She’s on the way to the Tap talk tonight and I join.
