Elise McLeod and I popped into the Swedish club to check out Australian pianist Chris Cody and his quartet and special guests… a contrast to the 7 piece band explosion from the Coolin with it’s view over the Tuileries, green room with Alfred Nobel’s writing desk (no one was going to tap on that!) and an enthusiastic, sophisticated Swedish/international crowd. We were just meant to be checking the venue, but the music was so good that we pulled out our little pocket Kodaks for a song or two. So this is a taste.. and we’ll be back- with better lighting.
