This is where a hungry journalist (that’s me) and a thirsty writer (Geneva based Australian writer Addison Holmes) meet at the Bains de Paquis in Geneva. With a white wine and hot chocolate, Addison shares the history of this iconic artificial island with us as I, famished from filming and lugging the camera and tripod all over town, listen and slurp down a delicious- but cheap- pumpkin soup. Afterwards, we take a sauna and a traditional dip into the icy Lake Leman. Enjoy!
