Los Angeles-based trio Sound and Fury are an hilarious vaudeville style comedy trio currently making audience chortle, smile and groan at the Edinburgh Fringe. This well travelled act has won 2 People Choice Awards at the Adelaide Fringe and it’s easy to see why- the humour is easy to enjoy and they draw on traditions of slapstick, pantomime and vaudeville with some audience participation and easy to enjoy jumping in and out of character.  The plot, revolving around a Sherlock Holmes case manages to be silly, theatrical and engaging. But what really engages us is the sense of play and the presence of the performers who offer us a show that is light, bright and amusing.

Sherlock Holmes and the Saline Solution is performed by Richard Maritzer, Shelby Bond & Vinny Cardinale and promoted by Paul Lucas productions, playing in the sports room of the Gilded Balloon nightly at 22:30 until August 31.
