The 37th Cairo International Film Festival opened yesterday with the presence of Claudia Cardinale, Hessine Fehmi, Nelly Karim amongst other Egyptian and international stars in front and behind the cameras. The festival, which runs from 11th to 20th November, will screen over 100 films, 16 of those in the official selection, including French Jaques Audiard’s Palm D’Or winner Dheepan and iconic Algerian director Merzak Allouache’s Madame Courage. Two Australian films will be screening at the festival – Ariel Kleiman’s Partisan, and Kim Farrant’s Strangerland.
تم افتتاح مهرجان القاهرة الدولي السينمائي في دورته 37 على شرف روح الاسطورة فاتن حمامة بدار الاوبرا المصرية مع حضور ملفت للنجوم المصريين والعالميين، حيث تم تكريم كل من النجمة العالمية كلوديا كاردينال والنجمة المصرية نيللي كريم والنجم حسين فهمي المهرجان تمتد فعاليتة من 11 نوفمبر الي غاية 20 نوفمبر بمشاركة اكثر من 100 فيلم، يدخل في المنافسة 16 فيلم، والجزائر تدخل المنافسة بفيلم مرزاق علواش بعنوان مدام كوراج
